Pocket Friend

We’ve released our new app for kids named Pocket Friend. It’s available for Android on Google Play and for Kindle and Android devices at Amazon. The iOS Version will be available in a few days here in the Apple App Store. Pocket Friend is the first app in a new McPeppergames series of games where kids can play different games against a virtual animal friend.
The idea behind the apps is that kids often don’t have a real friend to play with for a lot of different reasons. That’s where the virtual animal Pocket Friend can help. Instead of playing some emotionless digital games kids can play against someone with emotional feedback based on the game play.
Here is a video of the Pocket Friend game-play, where kids can play 16 different Memo Pairs categories against their new virtual animal friend. The Memo Pairs motives include animals, objects, forms, numbers and even some basic math tasks.

We wish you and your families a Happy Easter!

Ready Player One

Ready Player One - by Ernest Cline
Ready Player One – by Ernest Cline

While doing some research for our upcoming Adventure-RPG game we’ve discovered a great book by Ernest Cline, called “Ready Player One”.
If you grew up in the 80ies and loved the movies, games and pop culture of that time and if you still have holiday or some time left you should read this book instantly! It really is a great read and it’s awesome how it transfers the emotions from this generation into the present (and future). And because the great title fits our motto for 2015 we want to wish you all a Happy New Year before everything gets back to “Ready Player One”.

Merry Xmas Everybody!

We wish you all a Merry Xmas and a great time with your family and loved ones!
Right now we are finishing our plans for 2015 and we all are very excited about them because we will start working on a huge project alongside some other smaller projects soon. So make sure to check by often to see all the exciting news for 2015 soon. We can’t wait to tell you about it 🙂
Now back to work, finishing some details and off to a great time with our families. BTW: If you haven’t noticed, we released some updates for some of our games last week. 😉

Merry Christmas!

Chocolate Cookies Recipe a la McPeppergames

Chocolate Cookies
Chocolate Cookies a la McPeppergames

While preparing for Christmas we started to make some cookies and because we don’t want to keep all the sweet stuff to ourselves we want to share our special Chocolate Cookies recipe a la McPeppergames.

Regarding the chocolate for the cookies you can use your favorite dark, brown or white chocolate… just the way you like it.

Here are the ingredients for the cookies you can see above:
250g Flour
1/2 teaspoon Natron
1/2 teaspoon Salt
160g Butter
200g Brown Sugar
80g White Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence (from fresh Vanilla)
1 pack of Vanilla Sugar
2 Eggs

300g Chocolate (your favorite one!)

And here are the directions to get cookies like the one you can see in the image:
1. Heat your oven to 170° Celsius (about 338° Fahrenheit).
2. Sieve the flour, Natron and the salt into a big bowl.
3. Melt the butter.
4. Break your favorite 300g chocolate into small pieces (smaller than 1cm)
4. Mix the butter with the brown and white sugar.
5. Now whisk the teaspoon Vanilla Essence, the pack of Vanilla sugar and the 2 eggs into the butter-sugar mix.
6. Add the mix to the bowl (with the flour, natron and salt) and then mix it again until it gets creamy.
7. At last add the chocolate crumbs to the dough and mix it a little bit.
8. Now take a table spoon and put droppings onto a cookie sheet. Make sure the cookie droppings have enough space to each other (min. 5cm) and don’t flatten the droppings.
9. Bake them for about 15 minutes.
10. Cool them and put them into the box.
11. Eat! 🙂

Happy Halloween!

We wish you all a Happy Halloween!

My Little Car Wash - Now in the App Store! And because we are not the only ones who are starting a Halloween party tonight we want to show you some proof that our game characters are ready to party also.
To the left you can see the boy from our new game ‘My Little Car Wash‘ (which is available as a premium app exclusively in the App Store worldwide since a few days). When you look into the ‘info booth’ inside the game you can see him dressed up and ready to party. Be quick and take a look inside the game before Halloween is over and he will change back to his work outfit… 😉
